Toxic Round Up

Every year, our region hosts the Toxic Round Up, where residents can bring hazardous waste, such as various cleaners, paint, used oil and gasoline. Most hazardous waste material is taken to the Swan Hills Treatment Centre for safe disposal; aerosols are sent to an Alberta-based recycling facility. Toxic Round Up is coordinated throughAlberta Environment and Parksand administered by Alberta Recycling.
